Patient Care & Community Service
You Can Invest in Patient Care & Community Service at UMDNJ
When it comes to preventive medical care and treatment for diseases, mental illnesses or emergencies, UMDNJ health professionals are devoted to their patients.
Our physicians, nurses, dentists, lab technicians, public health professionals and others backed by the University's outstanding research and educational pursuits are at work bringing the highest quality care to residents throughout the state.
The Foundation of UMDNJ works with corporations, foundations and individuals who value excellence in patient care and community service and want to support it. A number of grateful patients have established endowed chairs to honor loved ones and advance the work of their physicians. Some have contributed to specific areas of interest to them, like research into Parkinson's disease, heart disease, cancer, traumatic brain injury and autism, or to UMDNJ institutes such as The Cancer Institute of New Jersey, New Jersey Medical School-University Hospital Cancer Center, The Child Health Institute of New Jersey, The Neurological Institute of New Jersey, The CARES Institute, the NJ Institute for Successful Aging and University Hospital. Others have funded programs to improve the health of specific populations, such as underserved women and children.
For more information about your area of interest, contact us toll-free at (866) 44-UMDNJ (866- 448-6365). Or, click here to make an on-line donation.
Working with the Foundation of UMDNJ we have been able to direct our gifts to the areas that mean the most to us. With their help, our gifts to the RESPIRA program have made a tremendous difference to children with asthma and their families.”
