Innovation Stage Funding Program
To be eligible to apply for an Innovation Stage Funding Program grant recipients must meet the following criteria:
- Project must be an innovative life science project where the underlying intellectual property has been protected by a patent (copyright or trademark) or could be potentially protected by the University. A copy of such protection (patent) should be sent along with the preliminary information request form.
- Project should demonstrate potential for commercialization of a platform or a product (medical device, diagnostic, biomarkers, therapeutics or biologics) within the framework of the project.
- Researcher must have a desire and willingness to start a company in the future if the research results are promising and Foundation Venture Capital Group considers the project for investment stage.
